Affiliated with the Ayush University of Chhattisgarh, Raipur, CIMS offers an undergraduate MBBS program with an annual intake capacity of 180 seats. The institute, funded by the State Government of Chhattisgarh, runs under the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare. The 300-bed hospital, formerly known as Dharam Hospital, now serves as CIMS’s hospital, merging all staff from the district hospital.
