The Gujarat NEET PG Counselling Process is conducted through a centralized admission system by the Admission Committee for Professional Postgraduate Medical Courses (ACPPGMEC) for admission to MD, MS, and PG Diploma courses offered by Government and Private Medical Colleges across the state. The counselling process provides a single-window platform where candidates can complete registration, submit their preferences, and participate in the seat allotment process.
The entire admission process is based on a state merit list prepared from NEET PG scores, along with the applicable reservation policy and eligibility criteria. During choice filling, candidates can opt for different seat categories, and allotment is carried out in a transparent, merit-based manner according to the candidate’s rank and preferences.
With clearly defined rules and a structured counselling framework, Gujarat places strong emphasis on accurate registration, informed choice filling, and timely reporting. Candidates should understand every stage of the counselling process carefully to maximize their chances of securing a preferred postgraduate medical seat.
